Date picker works on tablet/laptop but not showing up on phone

Hi

I have a datepicker control that works perfectly on my tablet and PC.

But when I try open the phone layout app on my mobile phone there is no datepicker.

Has anybody encountered this problem?

Regards
Lorcan

Thank you for reporting this issue. We haven't seen this problem before. Does it happen for all phone apps that use date picker, or a specific one? If you create a new (empty phone) app, and add a single date picker, does it show up on your phone?

Thank you,

Carlos.

Hi Carlos.

I have had the same issue since I updated to 2.0.600 all my Apps worked good before then. You can probably see my post where I talked about it before.

On the phone the date part is missing although the hour-minute are visible. I have another function that relies on the date format and at the moment my colleagues cant enter the date on any new records.

It would be great if this was fixed as im not a code personSmiley Sad able to use the alternatives that have been offered.

Regards.

Hi Lorcan,

The latest PowerApps version is 2.0.610. Have you updated to the latest version?
What’s your phone version? Could you provide more information about this?

I test this issue on iPhone(10.2.1), and PowerApps version on my phone is 2.0.610, the DatePicker control works as expected.

Hi Lorcan,

Sorry for late response.

Are you still having this issue on your side?

Just now I try it on my iPhone, iPhone version 10.3.1, PowerApps version 2.0.611, the Date picker control is working as expected.

Please update you app version to the latest one and try again with it. If you are still getting this issue, please feel free post back.

Hi Mabel and kent

I somehow have seemed to fix the problem but I am not sure where lol

Now I have encountered another problem on the datepicker whereas I have two datepickers on my EditForm.

Datepicker1 - A normal datepicker with time input and thats it. Its supposed to record the starting date and time of an aircrafts flight and its stores the data to a sharepoint list.

Datepicker2 - Is the exact same thing. I have tied Datepicker2's default setting to Datepicker1 because no one will be flying any aircraft at night or through the night. and I will enter the time of day manually into the time entry field.
Also will then be stored in a sharepoint column.

Basically I can then go back and see the date, start time and finish time of the flight and I can then work out my own duration of the flight if I need to at a later stage.

My problem however, Is when I entet the dates in my Apps, all is good. But it shows always a day or two off in my sharepoint list.

Anyone encountered this before?

Regards
Lorcan

I had an app that I built from an earlier version of poweapps, and it was doing the same thing, I would pick a day, and it would show as the previous day in the list.  I re-created the app from the list using the newest version of the app, and it is working without issue now.  Not sure what would cause this, but I wanted to update the look of the app anyway, so I didn't mind.
