Item.item in my imported code why??

Good Afternoon Power Automate Pros!!

I have been trying to fix a template site that has Power Automate code that has been created by a developer for another site that I want to use for a template site.

I have MS VB Code editor to see the Power Automated exported code so I can edit it since I cannot edit the JSON code online if I could do this I would be able to fix this.

This post will include pictures so you get the full idea of what I am talking about.

In the code (in the MS VB editor) you see no "extra" item (first screenshot)

Except in the Power Automate portal you DO???? I am lost.

To all the wise Power Automate gods please help!!

Thanks, Ya' all

Hi @TheNoobOfSP

Thanks for the screenshare. So few things we did.

1. Turn off the new designer.

2. Load the flow again and found out that item/item is missing due to someone has deleted the column.

3. You having Get Items which is mapped dynamically so you need to add the Create Item step again and map the values by copying from the existing Create item or you can add that as an expression.

4. Once you re-create the Create item delete the old Create item step.

Hope the session was useful.

Thanks

Hi @TheNoobOfSP

You should be able to see that code. Try publishing the solution again and export/import the zip file. Unzip the file and check again.

Thanks

ABM thanks for getting back with me. Do you mean by publishing to Export the code then creating a "New" version say test number 6 then look to see if the item.item doesn't show or do an "Update" to the code when importing?

Yes publish as a new version and try it. Also open the file in NotePad and check.

Abm,

Thanks for the quick help. those columns like you stated didn't exist anymore. And based on me being a newbie on this, I do apricate the very quick help that you offered.

I have recreated both flows "Create Item" and "Update Item" so that all are not showing those fields item.item theme etc but now show in the read only code correctly.

Thank you so much. Now time to test wish me luck...🤣
