Select table name after run script

Hi,

I have this flow set up, the script selects all the data in the relevant file and converts into a table and applies a name to the table.

However, my 'List Rows present in a table' action is failing due to the table name not being recognised (im guessing this is due to the data being converted to range first and then into table in the script)

Can I get round this? I thought I may be able to create an expression and insert that into the Table name field, but I'm not quite sure. 

 any help is appreciated, thanks

Can you try to use the "Get tables" after your "Run script" action to check if it can return the table name in your side?

Hi, thank you for your reply. I can see that the table name is coming through in the 'get tables' action however the problem seems to be when the data is in a range before running the flow rather than already being in a table.

The data is always going to start as a range, and so the table name would not be visible until it is created.

Any advice? Is there something I need to include in my script or further steps in my flow? Thanks

Thanks for your response! I test it in my side using the same code as yours. 

The reason why it doesn't work out is because there is some delay after Excel converts it to a table, and you have to wait a while before it can return the corresponding table.

So you need to add the "Delay" action after the "Run Script" action in your side , like this:

I delay 2min , and it can run successfully , you can also test it in your side .
