Combo box filtering Sharepoint choice column

I'm new to PowerApps and would greatly appreciate assistance with the following challenge;

I want to combine my search function with text input and filter by my combo box.

Additionally, I need to filter with multiple combo boxes. However, my table has a choice column, and I'm unable to refer to the combo box due to incompatible data types.

Could someone please provide guidance on how to structure the formula correctly?

Here is a snippet of code I have attempted; 

Search('Research & Development Portfolio Planning',TextInput1_1.Text,'Project Name')  - Works

Search(Filter([@'Research & Development Portfolio Planning'], 'Portfolio Segment' = PortoBox.Selected.Value) - Incomptiable data type

Since Choice columns are complex columns, they don't contain just a value, but an object. For the filter to work, you need to select the value:

	Filter(
		'Research & Development Portfolio Planning', 
		'Portfolio Segment'.Value = PortoBox.Selected.Value
	),
	TextInput1_1.Text,
	'Project Name'
)

Are multiple selections allow for this Choice type column?

How can this be amended to show the complete table with no selection from combo box?

I tried to apply the same logic to another combo box, but nothing is return in the data table but no errors appears

For that we can add a second condition that cancels out the first one if true by leveraging the OR ( || ) operator:

Search(
	Filter(
		'Research & Development Portfolio Planning', 
		PortoBox.Selected.Value in 'Portfolio Segment'.Value || IsBlank(PortoBox.Selected.Value), 
        CatBox3.Selected.Value in 'Category'.Value || IsBlank(CatBox3.Selected.Value)
	),
	TextInput1_1.Text,
	'Project Name'
)

If I could ask to amend the code, as the combo box selection does not support multiple selections.

It only returns the initial and last selected option.

The formula is written for a single selection in either of the combo boxes. Can you please elaborate what it is that is not working as desired?

The objective is to enable a single combo box to filter the data table based on multiple selections. Presently, it only filters one selection per combo box, yet it does cross-filter with other combo boxes.

Although possible, this requirement will have a huge negative impact of the performance of your app due to the amount of data processing that is involved. As a result I would advise against this requirement.
