Dataverse for Teams Power TIP: Team members not showing in Users table

Just recently had this occur. If you add a member to your Team but they do not show in the Users table.

Check that the member is also added in the Admin Center of your Teams Environment - Users. 

I'm not sure if in my case, my Team Members were added after I added Power Apps and tables to my Team.

Not sure if I should have added them to the Team and then added Power Apps.

But either way you would expect that when they are added as a Team member that their Security Role would default to Team member and be added to the Users table automatically if they have the proper license, which everyone in our Enterprise does.

Thanks for the tip. From the testing I've done, I've discovered the below:

Members in team before App created and published

If members are already added to the team in Microsoft Teams, and then you create and publish an app, those members can:

• see the Power App in the tab in Teams
• can use the Power App
• are present in the User table in Dataverse for Teams
• and show in the Power Platform Admin Centre

Members added to team after App created and published

If members are then added to the team in Microsoft Teams, then:

• those members need to first log into Microsoft Teams and go to the team
• they won't see the tab with the Power App.
• Now for the important part:
  • if they log out and log back in, they will then see the tab with the Power App
  • can use the Power App
  • they become present in the User table in Dataverse for Teams after a couple of minutes or so
  • and show in "Users" within the Power Platform Admin Centre

If members are then added to the team in Microsoft Teams, after you've already created and published an app, you can either ask them to do the steps above, e.g., "log in and log out", or to add them immediately to the User table in Dataverse for Teams you need to:

• go to the Power Platform Admin Centre
• then add a user by following the Microsoft Docs steps 
• Note: it does not mention about assigning a Security Role in the above documentation, but that's a step in the process when adding a user.
• I added a user this way, and didn't assign a security role, so I just clicked "Cancel" and they were still added to the User table in Dataverse for Teams
• When they logged in they were able see and interact with the app.
• I've added an issue on Github to say the documentation is lacking information about the security role step
