Generating a unique ID flow has failed and is now out of sync

Hello, I have set up a solution utilising MS Forms, MS Lists and PowerAutomate that sends the data from the forms to the lists using a number of flows to do so. In addition, there's a flow that generates a unique ID (based upon the row ID of the list where the data from the form feeds into) and then sends an email to the submitter with this unique ID.

This morning, I received an email to advise the flow had failed. When I've checked it's the flow relating to the generation of the unique ID that has failed:

The error details advise:

Cannot complete this action.

Please try again.
clientRequestId: cc9a1880-28b5-4384-9b6a-7081603423b0
serviceRequestId: cc9a1880-28b5-4384-9b6a-7081603423b0

I was able to resubmit the flow and it appeared to have then processed as normal, but when I've checked the list where the data feeds into it's apparent there's a glitch:

The unique ID is missing from row 816.. it should have been DI00816, but is missing on this row and instead has been applied to row 817, so is now out of sync by 1.

I'm wondering if there's a quick fix to getting the flow back in sync?

@SteCoxy Can you share a screenshot of your flow? If you are using the new designer, please switch to the Classic Designer and click each action to expand and take a screenshot of your flow in edit mode.

In addition to your unique ID missing, you should be parsing your multi-choice selections.

Hi @creativeopinion, thank you for replying and reviewing my query.

Thankfully, as if by magic, this seems to have correct itself with the next submission that has been made.

We've hypothesised that it could have occured due to there being multiple forms and flows that feed into the 1x MS List, but then 1x flow that creates the unique ID, so if different submitters fill in the forms around the same time it could be causing the flows to crash.

@SteCoxy No worries. Were you able to sort out how to parse your multi-choice options?

I did, but I've got a feeling it's probably not the most efficient or neat.

I simply mapped it from the form to the column in the MS List that I wanted it to go into.

Is there a way of enhancing this for them to appear separately and colour coded (like below in the choices column values), rather than bunched together and separated by commas?
